How to Cite an Article from a subscription database
The following are examples of two styles for the way citations from a subscription database should appear in a bibliography. Keep in mind that there are other styles (Chicago and CEBA being two notable ones). Also keep in mind that double spacing and underlining rather than italics might both be preferred. Always check with your instructor for style preferences.
Whichever style is used, a citation will generally contain the following:
1. author (if applicable)
2. title
3. name of publication
4. publication information
5. pages or indication of length
6. source (database name, i.e. InfoTrac)
7. accession number (article number) if possible
8. download date
